description: The client requires a Quality Manager to be based in Bristol. The site is the UK R&D arm of a leading independent supplier of high performance radio frequency power amplifiers in the US. Candidates preferably have experience and appreciation of research and development within this field. To manage the adherence to the client’s approach to quality, and undertake the required actions to ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) is effective. To oversee all quality activities. To consider root causes of problems, and possible impact on procedures/activities, and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken. To carry out awareness training/coaching in quality concepts, and training in the use of Quality Management System. To organise and chair client's Quality Sub-Group (QSG) meetings. To maintain and improve client's TL9000 and ISO9001 Quality Management System. To undertake ongoing internal audits to the existing internal audit procedure and agreed s!
chedule, and carry out identified improvements. Through the Quality Sub-Group meetings, ensure that documentation and audits correctly reflect the QMS and sign them off. Maintaining client's ISO9001 and TL9000. To liase on quality issues which are likely to impact their organisation, specifically in relation to technologies transferring to production facilities, or which relate to operation of the client’s QMS within the overall company quality certification.
