description: This company based in Berkshire, specialises in the development of software for Telecommunications test systems.

They seek Software Engineers, at all levels, to develop UNIX based applications. You will be responsible for designing new products, maintaining existing products, and interfacing with marketing and other engineering groups. You will be responsible for all phases of development cycle from requirements through field trial. The focus will be on software design and development using object oriented design methodologies and implementation in Java and C++. You will also need to provide technical support to field service personnel.

You will need a BSc/MSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering, along with
1 to 3 years work experience.

SKILLS –

Java and/or C++ on UNIX
Working knowledge of object oriented design methodologies (UML)
Working knowledge of Rational Rose and Clearcase desired
Knowledge of PERL and other scripting languages desired
Working knowledge of Weblogic Application Server or Oracle database desired
